It all began by seeing a need for well made wooden toys when major toy companies were giving us imported plastic. We felt that the toy, not the packaging or tv commercials, should inspire a child's imagination.

DoodleTown Toys has provided two generations with nostalgic designs and individually handcrafted toys at craft shows throughout the USA. Our toys have been featured in Fortune 500 tv commercials, magazine articles, a major motion picture, on the White House Oval office desk and most recently (along with 400 other manufacturers) in "Made Here, Baby," a guide to finding the best American-made products for kids.
